Do you have a hard time falling asleep at night or waking up in the morning? Are your bowel movements irregular? Does your skin have a tendency to be dry or itchy?
Dinacharya is a Sanskrit word derived from two root words: “dina” meaning day and “acharya” meaning behavior or regimen. Is it a collective of daily routines that promote balance and bring more enjoyment, peace and improved health into our lives.
Over time, many of us have developed routines and habits that aren't aligned with our intentions and goals. From the minute we wake up we're on the go only slowing down at the end of the day, exhausted and depleted. This workshop aims to bring awareness to such tendencies and offer practices that help you regain energy, bring peace, and help restore balance. We'll look into several cleansing techniques (kriyas), including digestive cleaning (agni sara & nauli ), daily tongue scraping, and therapeutic self oil massage (abhyanga).
In learning about specific techniques and their benefits, you will leave with all the information you need to create a self-care ritual to begin every day feeling grounded and spacious — a foundation from which to thrive.
